Punjab based Standard Group engaged in manufacture of tractors, harvest combines
and three wheelers has forayed into the two wheeler market in the country by
launching its indigenously developed Battery operated Electronic Bike for the first
time in the country.

KEV's luxury E-Bicycle has been developed keeping in mind young school and college
going students particularly girls. It is environment friendly and economical to run
as in single charge of about four hours its runs 80 kms and has a provision of
pedaling home like a cycle.

It is targeted at small towns, cities and is suited to Indian rugged conditions.
It is light with extra security features and is maintenance free with maximum speed
of 24 km per hour. It is equipped with dry lid acid battery and ultra modern 248
watt motor and does not need any vehicle registration and also operated is not only
very attractive and lucrative but also very comfortable.

It has no kick, no clutch, no engine and no sound. So, it is maintenance free and it
is also light weight in driving even 10 years old child can easily drive very
comfortably. And the running cost falls very economically i.e., 80 km at just Rs.6/-
only in one go charge. Charger can be carried along with bike. The parts have been
used are very genuine and long lasting.

The most exciting loaded with all facilities luxury E-Bicycle from KEV is now
available for exhibition as well as sell in India International Trade Fair, Pragati
Maidan, New Delhi, Gate No.5 outside U.P. Pavilion and the Technology Pavilion.. And
it is available in trendy colours priced at Rs.23000/- onwards.

It has three models including ZES HAI! BIKE, WOW! & HAI! HELP with four wheels with
reverse gear 1st time in the world for 5 years child to train to drive the bike and
company plans to have a network of dealers and service network soon. The Standard
Group of Companies is now giving stiff competition among the tractor manufacturers
because of its fine quality tractors. Evidently it is soon becoming a market leader
in passenger and cargo vehicles and battery operated pollution-free mini cars,
besides its present lead in the market for Combine Harvesters and Tractors. The
company is manufacturing engines for its tractors, and now also opening a separate
'Engine Division' to manufacture and sale pollution-free diesel engines to the
prospective Indian and foreign customers. It is also making earth-moving vehicles
(front-end loaders and excavators; cranes; etc.) and now making foray into the
